The offer for Crumble was highly anticipated. He joined Michigan State 2024 commit Jesse McCulloch in leading Lutheran East to the Division III state championship this past season. Here was what Crumble posted on Twitter after the offer:

The 6-7 Crumble was 11 of 15 from the floor and had 23 points in Lutheran East’s state semifinal win. He then had 12 points in the state championship win over Ottawa-Glandorf.

Crumble plays for the All-Ohio Sumner 15-U team. He averaged 15.4 points and 4.2 rebounds per game and hit 62 percent of his shots from the floor and was 4 of 5 on threes over five games at the first weekend of Nike E15 league play in Atlanta. That team played in the NY2LA event in Louisville last weekend, posting a 4-0 record. They will be off this weekend.

    BUCKEYES OFFER CLEVELAND'S CRUMBLE
Johnson isn’t the only five-star freshman prospect to earn an Ohio State offer in the past few weeks.

Ranked just two spots below Johnson as the No. 18 player on ESPN’s list of the 25 top recruits in the 2026 class, Cleveland’s T.J. Crumble out of Lutheran East is firmly on the Buckeyes’ radar as well. Listed at 6-foot-7, 205 pounds, Crumble projects as a forward at the next level following several more years of development in high school.

A standout on the All-Ohio Sumner AAU team during the EYBL circuit, Crumble also earned an offer from Illinois on Monday, and more offers will continue to rain in as he shows off his skill set in front of collegiate coaching staffs moving forward.
