• One Ohio guy I really like in the 2026 class is four-star cornerback Victor Singleton, who was probably the most impressive underclassman that I saw on Sunday. The Toledo product and top-100 prospect in the 2026 cycle earned a future 50 invitation from Under Armour and told me he'll camp at OSU sometime this summer. "I was out here to compete and went up against some upperclassmen trying to get some work in for the season," Singleton told Eleven Warriors. "I'd say I loved coming here and competing with everyone."

Singleton was one of the defensive back MVPs and earned an invite to Future 50. Already a top 50 prospect in the 2026 class, he did very well in testing reportedly and then used his quickness and recovery speed to win reps in one on ones. He has to add some weight to his frame, but has the quickness, agility and natural cover skills of a big-time prospect.

 

Four-star 2026 cornerback Victor Singleton was impressive in individual drills and one-on-ones Sunday, as the top-100 prospect won nearly all of his reps and showcased great coverage skills. After the camp, he was named a positional MVP and earned a Future 50 invitation from Under Armour.

"I was out here to compete and went up against some upperclassmen trying to get some work in for the season," Singleton told Eleven Warriors. "I'd say I loved coming here and competing with everyone."

The 6-foot, 160-pound Singleton is considered the 67th-best prospect and the eighth-rated cornerback in the 2026 class, per 247Sports’ composite rankings, and has picked up 10 Division I offers. Akron, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Indiana, Kent State, Kentucky, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Toledo and Wisconsin are the schools that have offered so far.

“I take it all in, but just because I’m getting offers doesn’t mean I can settle down,” Singleton said of his recruitment picking up over the past few months. “I have to keep going and try to stack (days) and keep working.”

In his sophomore year, Singleton recorded four interceptions (including one returned for a touchdown), 15 pass breakups, one forced fumble and one tackle for loss.

Singleton is on Ohio State’s radar. The Central Catholic standout, who grew up a Buckeyes fan, visited Columbus last month and enjoyed his time watching an OSU spring practice.

“It was good, they were really fired up,” Singleton said. “The practice was really competitive and Jeremiah Smith (looked good). I liked watching the DBs go against him. I was taking mental notes. I was by coach Walton the whole time and he was giving me advice. I was just taking it in.”

Singleton says he will camp at OSU sometime this summer. He is still working with Ohio State secondary coach Tim Walton to determine a specific date.

The Toledo prospect says he grew up an Ohio State fan and would love to earn an offer from the Buckeyes by putting on an impressive performance at the recruiting camp.

“I want to win more reps and compete against the best athletes I can see,” Singleton said of his goals for the camp. “It would be a blessing (to get the offer), but I have to work and keep trying to get it. I’m going to try and get the offer (at camp).”

Four-star Ohio 2026 cornerback Victor Singleton was one of the more impressive players I saw at the Under Armour Next Camp in Canton in May. Singleton camped in Columbus Wednesday and he didn’t disappoint. The Central Catholic (Toledo) standout earned an offer from OSU by turning in a strong workout.

Singleton is considered the No. 144 prospect and the No. 10 cornerback in the 2026 class. He’s earned 14 Division I offers, including Indiana, Kentucky, Mizzou, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Tennessee and Wisconsin.
