Cumberland has six Division I offers, including Wisconsin, Arizona State, Oregon, Arizona and Washington. In his freshman season at Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, Arizona), Cumberland recorded 38 tackles (16.5 for loss), six sacks, 16 quarterback hurries and one forced fumble.
