Jordon Davison is the No. 29 player and top running back in the 2025 class from California. He and his entire family came to Columbus for an unofficial visit over the weekend, then decided to stay on Monday to camp. The Mater Dei High School prospect looks the part of a high-level running back, and bringing his whole family east for the weekend means he’s seriously considering the Buckeyes. Running backs coach Tony Alford swung and hit big in 2024 with four-star James Peoples. Potentially landing Davison would build on that success in a way thathe hasn’t done yet in his OSU career with back-to-back big-time classes.
