State of the position: Ohio State has recently pieced its offensive line together due to depth concerns, but it has a high ceiling with four new starters. https://t.co/xePr8iyqGf— Eleven Warriors (@11W) May 27, 2019

Day said there are seven offensive linemen battling for playing time (Thayer Munford, Jonah Jackson, Josh Myers, Wyatt Davis, Nicholas Petit-Frere, Branden Bowen and Joshua Alabi) and said that battle will play out in August.

Entering their fifth seasons in Columbus, Branden Bowen and Joshua Alabi will have to play big roles as leaders on a young offensive line in 2019. https://t.co/VGk5ocS0u0— Eleven Warriors (@11W) July 21, 2019
Ryan Day on the offensive line: "I feel as good as I've felt in the last couple years in terms of our depth." He says they have seven or eight linemen who can play, and they'll begin battling when the pads go on.— Colin Hass-Hill (@chasshill) August 2, 2019
Ryan Day believes Ohio State has at least seven offensive linemen who are ready to play, and the Buckeyes are giving them all a chance to show what they can do early in fall camp. https://t.co/VrBQe2gWXT— Eleven Warriors (@11W) August 6, 2019

Branden Bowen or Nicholas Petit-Frere. The fifth-year senior with six games of starting experience or the redshirt freshman who is the highest rated offensive lineman to ever sign with the Buckeyes. Can Ohio State go wrong with either at right tackle? https://t.co/clSIxbwovq— Colin Hass-Hill (@chasshill) August 8, 2019
Greg Studrawa seemed giddy about his offensive line on Thursday. Ryan Day seems cautiously optimistic. I buy it. On the line’s depth, promise and future: “This is how it should be” https://t.co/v86gBjBOo0— Bill Landis (@BillLandis25) August 9, 2019
Interesting that Josh Alabi isn’t getting the look at RT. Seems he’ll be the backup LT with Branden Bowen and Nick Petit-Frere battling it out at RT per Ryan Day— Alex Gleitman (@alexgleitman) August 10, 2019
On the right tackle battle between Branden Bowen and Nicholas Petit-Frere: "I think right now, it's probably really close. It's probably neck-and-neck." Asked if he would seriously considering rotating offensive linemen in games, Day simply replied, "Yes."
I don’t like the idea of rotating OLinemen. And I’m not sure Day really does either. But with the transfer portal, I’m sure he wouldn’t want to name Bowen the starter and rink losing NPF, although I highly doubt that would happen.
this unit is going to be much improved! Mumford > Mumford last year Jackson > Pridgeon Myers > Jordan @ Center Davis > Knox Bowen or NPF > Prince

Excluding QB, being able to rotate players at all positions is not a bad thing. When the Bucks traveled to Austin for a rematch with the Horns several years ago coach Tressel rotated the o-line throughout qtr.’s 1 - 3. The 4th qtr. line of scrimmage was totally controlled by Ohio State. During post game interviews the Texas d-lineman commented they were worn down by the end of the 3rd qtr. Go Bucks
