You believe that Baldwin is capable of winning the Big Ten next year?

I don't blame Martell for outting his name in the portal to see what's out there IF he doesn't win the job... but the way he's handled this all is just wrong......

With the offensive weapons and returning talent on defense...yes. What team in the big 10 is “better” than the Bucks at this time? Who gave the Bucks a chance when Braxton Miller went down? And then JT took over and eventually Cardale. Spring ball is extremely important this year. Gotta have a little faith in tOSU.

I have faith in Ohio State but Ryan Day is a first year head coach and I would like him to have as much experience as possible and not have to rely on a RS FR who has never taken a snap on the big stage.

That is the reason spring ball and summer workouts are a “little” more important this year. I think we’ll be OK.

I don’t mind him transferring. It’s everything surrounding his transfer, and the fact that he spoke such a big game only to tuck his tail between his legs in the end.

I also think it was very immature and out of line to speak in the way that he did about Justin Fields when he learned of his transfer. That isn’t the kind of behavior you’d expect from a quarterback at the Ohio State University.

The bullshit stops when the tailgate drops...tailgate dropped and Tater put his “tail between his legs”.

I think so. Especially if he is with the 'ones' during the Spring.

That’s a good question, since Tate is clearly not attending classes right now. Can he really expect to get his degree in three years even with a skipped semester?

The fact he is not on track to graduate and may have to sit out a year, certainly puts a different spin on this move by Tate and his family...…..

Why not wait, compete in the spring and then transfer out if he does not win the job considering he will have to sit out...…..

No valid reason for a hardship waiver...….

He'll immediately be one of the best QBs in that conference, just like Burrows was one of the best in the SEC. Ohio State moves the needle.

He's using the "the coach I committed to play for abruptly left" excuse for immediate clearance.

I've heard that he technically has a more valid reasoning to be cleared immediately than Fields does. However, the NCAA is likely not going to fight that battle in the Fields situation. Both will probably be the starting QB for their teams in 2019.
