Well that sucks. Is there any chance of an injury redshirt?

That does suck. I was looking for good things from him the year.

I would think so if he does not play the whole season.

Wow... This kid needs to find a way to stay healthy. He could be such a danger on the field with his speed...

If he doesn't play I would like to see him red shirted. It would be a waste to not use his talent.

The thing is that it's a high ankle sprain and those things can stick around for a long time. Hopefully, he doesn't push his recovery and we can see him back for the beginning of the Big Ten season.

i say that we redshirt him. we cant waste over half of the season just to slowly work him back into the rotation. we have guys that can step up for now. save him for next year and we can use a wholee season of his speed

I actually thought we were kinda thin at WR. Considering we'll have 2 freshmen WR's in the mix who have beat out upperclassmen.

I think you have to give credit to the frosh and the coaches. I think it would be best for small to redshirt for this year. A high ankle sprain sticks with you for a long time. Give it rest and come back faster and stronger next year.

    Poor guy

I feel bad for him. Hope he rehabs fast, and then can train hard and stay healthy to at least play some college ball. I would hate to see his career at OSU over before it ever really started.

This is a big loss. I was hoping to see Small being used like Ginn. Maybe line him up at the wing or just finding ways to display his speed to keep defenses honest. Right when you thought the pace of the offense was going to be slow this year, it just got slower.

How fast is Saine, I unfortunately don't know all that much about him.

I read in our local paper today that Ray has rejoined the team in practice this week and he could be available for the Akron game.
