I think Clemson and UGA will actually finish ahead of us when all is said and done ... But this isn't about Dabo. It's about Urban. Dude needs to light a fire next year. This year's team didn't feel the same as previous years'

We won the Big Ten and most likely going to beat USC, but Urban needs to light a fire?

This Ohio State class is not done.

Clemson will not finish ahead of us.

    Georgia is full.

Most likely Ohio State will finish with the top class but if it is #2 or #3, does it really matter?

Worry about the kids we got and not the guys who went elsewhere..........

Expectations are out of control in college football.

He has lost 8 games at Ohio State and consistently has a top 5 class in recruiting and some Ohio State fans are ready to jump off a ledge today because 3 kids went elsewhere..........

His comments about feeling pressure concerning Ohio State and the atmosphere WHAC...big kid, slow feet and plays high...I saw a “nasty streak” when he played smaller competition...time will tell...probably better for him with Dabo. When the ass kissing stops and you have to line up against D1 athletes we’ll see what he is made of. At least he won’t get his ass kicked by Bosa, Young and Cooper next year while playing scout team.

So he plays with awful technique and he’s weak minded and can’t handle pressure? Blessing in disguise.

I'm very happy with this class, and I'm not saying that I'm disappointed with the trajectory/performance of the program ... However, I am bothered by Urban's decisions with the QB situation this year.

I was fine with it until he threw JT into the fire against TTUN and didn't give Haskins a chance against Iowa.

The point is that Urban doesn't seem to have the same fire that he had before, and it's a little frustrating to see him preach competition, competition, competition only to give PT to seniority that isn't performing.

Can't count everything as a slight. Sometimes you have to take a look at the program and call it like it is.

Does Clemson have “safe-room” for the “snowflakes” that allows scholarship athletes in when their feelings get hurt?

JT is gone. Let it go. No one to blame next year when Haskins goes through growing pains.

Urban knows the kids better than we do. If he thought Haskins gave us the best shot to win, he would have made the move. Stop it with the senior conspiracy theories. I heard the same crap when Tress was here. Maybe a coach TRUSTS a senior more than a kid who has barely played. It could be that simple.

Urban has the same fire and is still relentless with attention to detail.

I wish the kid the best. I think his fears are valid, and he seems to be more interested in going to a relaxed environment where he can just be more of a kid.

Clemson seems like a pretty fun environment, and Dabo is a great guy. Urban would be the first to admit that his program is built on performance and high pressure. He likes "angry" teams, and the staff takes things very seriously here.

At the end of the day, we got ours, and Carman seems to have found a landing spot that fits his personality.

It's an Ohio State forum, not a propaganda site ... Urban is a fantastic coach, but he's not perfect. Let's not pretend that the decision to start JT 1 week after a knee surgery and to stick with him against Iowa wasn't because of seniority.

I love JT as much as the next guy, but when players aren't getting it done, you have to be flexible enough to move things around and let other guys take snaps (especially when we're down by 31 late, or your senior just went through knee surgery).

The way I see it is that things aren't always black and white, and you have to constantly question your decisions if you're going to improve. You can love a guy AND expect more from him, you know?

A “FATED” MATCHUP. You might not-so-fondly remember Jackson Carman as the local five-star teen who spurned the Buckeyes on early signing day, taking his Benedict Arnold ass to Clemson instead.

(Though maybe that sting didn't even last long enough to stick in your grey matter since Ohio State immediately replaced him with the only higher-rated offensive tackle in that class.)

As a reward for his defection, Carman now gets to spend the biggest game of his life acting as a turnstile for the best player in the country. The best part is, he thinks he's ready.

“I feel like it's fated. I just had a feeling whenever I came that we were definitely going to play them at some time,” Carman said of the upcoming Fiesta Bowl College Football Playoff semifinal meeting with Ohio State.

    ...

“If you just run at him and try to throw a super hard punch at him, he's going to take your hands and be gone,” Carman said. “You've got to sit back and play patient with him. Let him come to you, and then try to take up as much space as possible when he gets to you.”

    ...

“I went against the No. 4 overall draft pick every day last year,” Carman said, referring to former Clemson All-American Clelin Ferrell, who now starts for the Oakland Raiders. “I go against future first-round picks here every day, so I've just got to go do my job.”

I am praying that Clemson leaves him one-on-one with Chase Young. Absolutely praying. The Predator will have Sunshine folded across his shoulder faster than you can say "Petit-Frere."

Just hung out on the tigernet.com board. Tee it up...need to shut up a fan base that thinks this is the same team that lost a couple years ago and they have the same team that has won a national title.

    Go Bucks

PS - one on one...CY kiks the dog-shit out of their LT.
