Class of 2016 offensive lineman Drake Jackson did even better than Ohio State coaches expected at Friday Night Lights and have now made the coaches have to take a look at their numbers for 2016.

Drake Jackson, the top overall center in the class of 2016, will pick between OSU, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Alabama on Saturday, December 13 during a party held at his house in Versallies, Kentucky.

After visiting the OSU campus for camps and other trips, Jackson, a four-star prospect, finally received his scholarship offer from the Buckeyes in November. Even though his Ohio State offer is relatively new, Jackson has always considered OSU as an "offer school" and a major player in his recruitment.

While the Buckeyes have been stockpiling talent up front, the center position is just about the only spot left on the offensive line where OSU could use some depth. With the graduation of Jacoby Boren and Billy Price coming up before we know it, a commitment from Jackson could help put the Buckeyes in a safe spot when that time does come.

No question about it, Jackson would be welcomed to the 2016 class with open arms, but at the moment the Buckeyes look to be behind his home state Kentucky Wildcats for a pledge from the 6'2, 290-pound future All-American.

With his announcement still a couple weeks away, stay tuned for much more on Jackson and his upcoming commitment from the Land-Grant Holy Land recruiting team in the near future.

I heard that Mirko Jurkovic can play Center..if true, this is not much of a loss. Plus, Price is only a Freshman and could take over at Center when Boren is gone.
