Class of 2016 wide receiver, Sam Bruce, the nephew of former NFL great Isaac Bruce, named a current top five of (In no order) Florida State, Miami, Florida, Ohio State and Oregon. Last season for University High, Bruce had nearly 700 yards receiving and nine touchdowns. The 5'8 standout has since transferred to St.Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale.

Bruce was waiting on Oregon offer..............Sam Bruce has had Oregon in his top five, but the Ducks were the only school in that top five yet to officially offer. The2016 four-star receiver of Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas picked up the offer late last week and thinks it’s a great fit for him.

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas four-star rising junior slot receiver Sam Bruce informed Noles247.com on Thursday evening that he will make his decision on July 4th.

Bruce is selecting from Florida State, Miami and Ohio State.

He took an unofficial visit to Miami on Thursday.

The Seminoles currently claim 100% of his Crystal Ball predictions.

Sam Bruce pledged to the Hurricanes last summer, but this recruitment feels as through it's meant to stretch deep into the cycle. High school teammate Jordan Scarlett flipped from Miami to Florida days before national signing day 2015, and Bruce has both the Gators and Florida State in hot pursuit.

The nephew of former St. Louis Rams receiving great Isaac Bruce has 65 catches for 1,099 yards and 16 touchdowns since 2013. Defenders be warned: He's a much better blocker (5/5) than his size would indicate.

That facet of his game is just a piece of the fabric that makes him such a compelling prospect. Bruce plays the game full-throttle and adds juice to the offensive attack. He runs through tackles, finishing head-first with excellent velocity (14/15), and occasionally flashes a vicious stiff-arm.

Bruce is the kind of player who motivates teammates to work harder, and he's one heck of a threat in the special teams return game.
