Rivals.com Scout.com Small forward Cleveland, Ohio Garfield Heights Ht: 6'5" Wt: 180 lbs AAU: ?? Considered a top prospect in the Ohio 2013 class.
Rivals.com$ Whispers: Cleveland star in spotlight...................There is an emerging star in Cleveland, Ohio, as Garfield Heights sophomore Tony Farmer has picked up at least five high-major offers this year. Rivals.com analyst Jerry Meyer has the latest on Farmer, along with other recent news and notes, in this week's Whispers column.
his athletisim is starting to catch up to his 6'7 frame and he's starting to work on a perimeter game, could over take Loving for the #1 player in Ohio when its all said and done
Does this guy compare to anybody in our recent past? Sounds like a Buford type but i really havnt seen much on him yet? Sounds like alot of potential.
Farmer may be a top 10-15 player in the nation............tremendous potential and a solid kid.................
YouTube - Tony Farmer highlight mix‏ Rivals has Marc Loving 24th, Tony Farmer 25th, but i think Farmer will be top 15 when its all said and done ahead of Loving Prospect Profile: Tony Farmer - Bucky's 5th Quarter averaged about 15 PPG last year
Yea, I like Farmer a lot too. If we could only take one I would be happy with either player because Loving has a sweet stroke from deep but Farmer looks way more explosive. I bet that Marc Loving is better than we think because he is one of those players that looks like he's moving in slow-mo because he's so smooth, kinda like Evan Turner with a Deibler jumper. I hope we get them both obviosly. Ohio has had a really good run of in-state basketball talent dating back to LeBron and beyond.
Rivals.com$ Tony Farmer: 'a Tom Izzo-type guy'.............Rising 2013 forward Tony Farmer is on campus this weekend for an unofficial visit.
I hate losing in-state kids to Mich St. I'm not sure if Matta has shown much interest in Farmer yet? I thought that he might be interested in bringing in Tony Farmer and Nigel Hayes along with Marc Loving so we could have some good chemistry from the All-Ohio Red AAU team like he did in the '11 class. It will be interesting to see how this shakes out with these 3 Northen Ohio prospects. I wouldn't mind landing all 3, but Matta seems to be recruiting a lot more national lately.
Rivals.com$ Farmer close to an offer.............The 2013 class for basketball had a few visitors last week for Midnight Madness, but there is one player on the verge of a Syracuse offer who was not in the crowd. That player is Cleveland, Ohio's Tony Farmer.
Rivals.com$ Farmer enjoyed Musketeer Madness..............MusketeerScoop caught up with 2013 target Tony Farmer this weekend while he was participating in the Nike Ohio City Series at Whitehall Yearling High School in Columbus. Farmer talked about his recruitment and his recent visit to Xavier.
I really want to see Tony Farmer in this class..... Matta needs to lock down the top-2 prospects (Loving) in the state..... He would also play along side of Loving very well..... 6'7" Farmer at SG/SF 6'8" Loving at SF/PF They can both shoot lights out from mid-range and deep...... I agree... I would be happy with Tony Farmer, a big, and another Wing to go along with Loving in this class....
