I am not a expert on linebacker prospects but I see a player on the field who has good awareness and goes after the ball with aggression...........

If we are going to have guys like Shazier and possibly Perkins playing on either side of him, he will only have to be a “between the tackles” MLB. But I am not worried about his speed due to his excellent instincts. His film show that...

Well, we should be able to cross Tennessee off of Santos' list.

The current Tennessee "soft verbal" skipted out on his visit to Knoxville ths weekend.

Santos is scheduled to make an "official visit" to Ohio State during the weekend of January 27th.

Dalton Santos kind of reminds me of Bobby Carpenter.

He moves really well for his size (6'3"/245) and has a good frame with long arms.

His film really convinced me that he's the real deal.

    Go get em Meyer.

he moves very well for his size. i would like to see him get a little lower on some of his tackles. other then that he's always going down hill and plays sideline to sideline.

Add Tennessee to the "we hate Urban Meyer and OSU" list.

The only comparison I can think of for Santos with his size, aggressiveness, and quickness is Rey Maualuga...

It would be nice to have another ball hawk in the LB corps.

Tennessee recently hired Sal Sunseri from Alabama to be their defensive coordinator..........he will be visiting Santos this week.............so I do not think we can cross Tennessee off the list yet.

If he makes the visit to Ohio State, then I would start getting excited.

Sunseri makes connection with Santos.............Santos indicates he is 99.9% a Vol, but did not say he would not look at other schools at this point.

Sunseri impresses Santos.........The recruitment of Dalton Santos has been a blur for the past month. He was totally solid to Tennessee with linebackers coach Peter Sirmon leading the charge in solidifying the talented backer. Sirmon decided to head west to Washington and things changed. New defensive coordinator Sal Sunseri was in Van, Texas most of the day, Wednesday, but are the Vols back firmly in front?

Sunseri is a great recruiter. This one is probably over.
