I don't get upset at all if an in-state kid decides not to go to Ohio State. I get upset if he goes to Michigan or Notre Dame, but if he goes to the SEC or Pac12 then I have no problem with that. Ohio State isn't for everybody. I know tons of people who are massive OSU fans but went to other schools.

I think there's an understanding that IO is going to head to an elite academic school. I would guess Stanford, or Cal, but Northwestern is a possibility.

I, personally hope he stays in the Big Ten, but to one of the less-prestigious football programs. So, yeah, Northwestern...

Didn't go to Michigan or Notre Dame, Northwestern is okay by me. Best of luck to him.

Another stud coming out of the GWOC (Greater Western Ohio Conference). My high school plays in that conference and gets smoked on a regular basis in football. Some notable players to play in that conference the last couple years: Braxton Miller, Trey DePriest, Michael Bennett, Taylor Decker, Kaleb Ringer. The GWOC is quite possibly the best public school conference in the state.

Me2. I thought he had a better chance of picking Stanford, Cal, and ND over NW in that order.

    Great pick-up for NW.

These are the kind of players that need to start staying in the Big Ten. If the conference is going to start winning bowl games against the SEC, it has to keep players like IO within the conference and pull a few from the southeast and Texas.
