After watching this film i'm convinced that Diggs could play right away on either side of the ball. If he comes here he will be one of the best athletes at OSU since Ted Ginn or Chris Gamble. Unbelievable highlights.

 

The old me with Tressel is dead and gone. Urban can get both these dudes (Neal and Diggs) and clear a way for them. I believe!!!!!

In reference to OBJ's post, I think it's also a matter of where Diggs comes from. Meyer wants to start a pipeline to Good Counsel, and Diggs is the first step in the process. I think we're already recruiting 2-3 players from that school in 2013.

He's such a huge piece because he finishes the needs for this class.


It would be a perfect fit and I think Diggs is starting to understand that...

 

I just got off the phone with a friend of mine who is close to the program and he said he's been hearing Diggs' name a lot in the last couple days. He doesn't have much of an inside on recruiting since he is mainly around the current players but he overheard a couple coaches talk about Diggs and he said they sounded very confident. Take that FWIW.

 

Word on the streets had originally been he would announce 2 to 3 weeks after signing day... but I have a gut feeling that with the word around here the last couple days and seeing that Meyer has made a HUGE impression on him... my money is we find out no later than the 10th, but more likely in the next 72 hours IMO.

 

I heard next Friday. So the 10th.
