I saw the first few minutes of this and then decided we would hand out a beat down so I went to do homework. This isn't exactly the beat down I had in mind... =\

Not until 11/21-23 when they play in the preseason NIT in New York. I believe there next opponent is Syracuse which should be interesting.

A little tougher game than I thought it would be. Glad to see we got the win though. Im not sold 100 percent on this team though. And the crowd I think was worse last night than the night before. Could this make matta rethink whether he wants to be here? I mean 5000 fans in the crowd is just not going to cut it.

The crowd wasnt as bad as you think..there was alot more people in the upper level that you couldn't see on tv. As for not being "sold" on this team..that is ridiculous. Don't go and start think we are Duke or NC just because we had a good team last year. 5 years ago we would of begged for this team. Hell 5 years aga Lauderdale would of been the best player on the team, now he os the 8th off the bench. Basically what I am saying is this team is good and will get better as the year goes on. We lost the best center and the best point guard in the country last year off this team and are still going to win atleast 20, challenge for the Big Ten , and make the Dance. It will be a good year again.

You read way to far into my statements. Maybe there was a few more than 5000 but not much. If your satisfied with that then so be it but it WILL NOT keep recruits and matta around. Also I never said they wouldnt win 20 games. I said I was not completely sold on them yet. Will they come of age? Of course they will. And I too think they will win atleast 20 games. I just think they will be in for a rude awakening real soon. Im as happy as can be with the team. And no I never said we were Duke or North Carolina. But if we want to be like them then people need to support this team. And again 5000 or a little more in the stands WILL NOT cut it. Anyway go bucks.

Yeah, I guess I am still bitter from the weekend and needed to take it out on somebody.....sorry. Anyway, the big part of the reason for the small crowd is these 2 games were not part of the students ticket package. Which form what i hear sold out faster than any other year. So once they are in there we will be fine. And it is Michigan Week, so folks got other things on there mind.

I completely understand. I just wanted to let you know how I felt. I know it wasnt part of the package but there should still be a better crowd.

I think the crowd ordeal is mainly because of the opponent. I don't think anyone really wants to sit and watch a potential blow out vs. a no name team where no one knows where they are at.
