Buckeyes offer 2020 QB Harrison Bailey A second 2020 quarterback has been offered by Ohio State. Harrison Bailey is a 6-foot-4, 215-pound wunderkind, the next big thing at quarterback from Georgia. Bailey hails from Marietta and already holds offers from every school that matters nationally, including Alabama, Georgia, Florida State, Michigan and a dozen or so more. Still, landing a scholarship from Ohio State is special. “It’s a big-time offer,” Bailey told Land of 10 about Ohio State. “It’s one of the top schools in the country.” Bailey visited the Buckeyes in February. “It was a beautiful place, awesome facilities,” he said. “It’s definitely a college town.” Ryan Day has been the coach primarily in contact with the staff at Marietta High School, and the young quarterback prospect said he’s enjoying getting to know the Buckeyes’ new quarterbacks coach. “I don’t get to talk to him much, but he seems pretty cool,” he said of Day. Ohio State will be fighting an uphill battle in this chase, as it is with any prospect in the South. To this point, though, Bailey says he and his family are going to look at all schools, regardless of location. “Whatever the perfect fit is for me, we are totally fine with.”
