Thank you for the news Hollis! I appreciate it! I still think Barrett will be a very good QB at Ohio State.
Or, perhaps what Urban says is true and Barrett has really started coming along...he did say the JT has taken a "slight" lead.
The #OhioState backup QB race has a new leader in J.T. Barrett. http://t.co/77vxlqTPus #Buckeyes— Tony Gerdeman (@TonyGerdeman) August 17, 2014
How far behind is Cardale? JT Barrett has had injuries as well... And most spread-option quarterbacks deal with injuries (not to Braxton's degree). Pat White, Tim Tebow, Marcus Mariota... it's a tough gig.
Herbstreit expects OSU to use both JT Barrett and Cardale Jones against Navy to see which signal caller might be a better fit.— Lori Schmidt (@LoriSchmidt) August 19, 2014 Gee Herbstreit. You come up with that one all by yourself? I see why they pay you the big bucks.
In 13 J.T. was the no.13 QB by scout and offers from T.T.Nebraska,LSU,Baylor and Arizona,to reiterate I saw film clips of his JR.season and was very impressed,he can run very well,i think we are in good shape with Barrett. some good news Zeke back to full strength.
I don't think that would be an option. IMO.......I could see both quarterbacks getting reps in the first game....
Meyer said, "Sure," when asked if he could play both J.T. Barrett and Cardale Jones.— Bill Rabinowitz 🗞 (@brdispatch) August 20, 2014
Just another package to assist with short-yardage situations where we would count on B. Miller's legs. Go Bucks!
Meyer said the starting quarterback battle is “pretty close,” but J.T. Barrett is the starter.— Eric Seger (@EricSeger33) August 25, 2014 Still hope for Cardale?
