NFL Niggas For Life ! Super Prejudice unbelievable! https://t.co/wRQvHAAV8T— AB (@AB84) August 18, 2019 The NFL literally made one of the whitest players in the league change their helmet
Every player affected by the helmet change was given a 2 year heads up. This guy can eat a bag of dicks
Here's a closer look at the Antonio Brown helmet saga, which has led to behind-the-scenes finger pointing regarding why Brown won't be allowed to wear a Schutt AiR Advantage helmet that is less than 10 years old and that NOCSAE has certified for use https://t.co/qXYX6uKRBH— ProFootballTalk (@ProFootballTalk) August 18, 2019

Exactly, @wyche89. This is the crossroads for Brown. https://t.co/bz2K0XMMNN— Peter King (@peter_king) August 18, 2019
The NFL and NFLPA have worked hand in hand on Antonio Brown’s helmet issue. On Monday night, they jointly said the helmet model AB wants to use would be tested at same lab in Ottawa as other helmets. It failed. NFL and NFLPA engineers concurred. Thus it may not be worn.— Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) August 18, 2019
Could Antonio Brown go to federal court and get a judge to essentially overrule both the NFL and NFLPA and declare that Brown can wear the helmet he wants? If this were a movie, sure. But in real life, Brown would face extremely long odds. Here’s why: https://t.co/LbevTMF4Om https://t.co/kGaHkmSBjI— Michael McCann (@McCannSportsLaw) August 18, 2019

I’m sure players would be faster without pads too, but there are rules for permitted equipment and the NFL has every right to make and enforce those rules as they’d like. Brown needs to get back to work and focus on things he can control.
Just watched this week's episode of Hard Knocks... I think Brown might be playing up this helmet thing to stay in the headlines while he can't practice bc of his injury. Once he's healthy, I think he gets back to the grind.
