Anyone else catch this gem by Jameis today? What the hell is wrong with him?

 

He’s so annoying! And he and Evans were salty af because Lattimore was shutting them down!

 

Lattimore might be the best corner in the league right now. He's shutting eeerrrrbody down. I thought Evans was going to change that today, but nope. 1 catch for 13 yds.

Can't remember a better season by a rookie DB in recent memory. I was cruising the NFL boards over on reddit earlier, and people were comparing his game to Revis at his best.

 

Gah! Imagine Ohio State with him, Hooker, and Kwon right now! We don’t give up 55 to Iowa, for sure!!!

 

Gotta coach up and play with the cards we have (Coaches in question in my mind: DB - Coombs and LB - Davis).
In fairness the O-line has stabilized and improved over last year.
Play calling and head coach...to pass the blame to the RB coach concerning touches and who plays...when you pick up 5+ yards per carry and the TE's are not used. Come On Man!

Our TE has been used far more than in the past. Hell, Baugh caught the game winner against PSU.

Coombs lost his two all-american CBs and is working with one Junior and two CBs in their first year (Sheffield/Okudah). If you look at the holes in the defense, it's not the CBs who are allowing completions.

Davis is in his first year coaching our LBs. So far, they've been pretty good, but they are definitely lacking in cvg. All in all, it's a very young defense with a new assistant at it's core (LBs).

It's hard for me to start throwing blame around when we just dominated PSU on that side of the ball.

At some point, you just gotta tip your hat to superior game planning and execution. If it persists against MSU and scUM, it's time to start questioning things.
