Call me a band-wagoner, but losses like this really hurt my interest and commitment as a fan. When a team plays so far below their potential, it's hard for me to stay engaged.

We all made it past that Fickell year......

I expect to compete for Championships (still can, Conference) but there isn't any shame in a 2-loss season. It's going to happen from time to time.

 

Even Cooper was a hell of a head coach. He just couldn't beat scUM (which is admittedly a lot).

If you're losing interest in OSU football bc of on-field productivity, you'd better take a very close look at your expectations.

We haven't had a bad head coach since well before Woody Hayes, and Urban is on pace to be the best of the bunch (if he isn't already).

 

Yep. Those were both instances where our coaching staff was just out classed in every facet of the game. Even Clemson/OU had different feels to them ... In those, we just weren't executing and it was sloppy play. In the ones mentioned, it just felt like the other team knew exactly what we were going to do, and beat us to the punch.

I expect Urb and co. to right the ship through the rest of the season.
