I was curious why he hadn't made the starting line up. Attitude? Is that more clear.

I think I can't wait to see what he can bring to the table more than the rest of the WR's because he's already been in the collegiate system and strength training for a year with Mick. I feel like he should be the MOST prepared. He's a guy who would be best suited for the #1 spot at receiver right?

Wouldn't it be nice if Greene had a little bit of Micheal Jenkins in him?

    That's what we need desperately...

A tall rangy WR on the outside with great hands...

It depends on who's closer to the camera...

He's getting close to TE status...

Greene is huge! He and Michael Thomas will give this offense the only thing it was missing last year...

It will be nice to have some physical WR.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Greene get some packages as a flex TE where he doesn't have to block most of the time and he can run his routes from there...

They tried that with Stoney but it didn't really work out at a high rate because he forgot that he had 2 hands...

RedZone threat on the outside too...

We haven't had an affective WR this big in a long time..T.Y. Williams was huge but never did much..

Might have to go all the way back to 2003 with 6'4" Michael Jenkins?

Hartline and Robo were 6'3" but they really weren't "big" WRs..

Georgia Tech transfer Jeff Greene looks like the former Georgia Tech receivers in the NFL. He's big, tall and can go up and get the football. He had a few nice catches and just looks like a tough matchup for defenders once he gets his body on them. He also had a fantastic back-shoulder catch from Cardale Jones against Gareon Conley. Greene is not yet on scholarship per OSU.

    5) Jeff Greene caught a number of balls and looked good doing it. He looks like a tight end but plays like a WR. I know, I know, it's just one practice, and I agree that is not enough, but that's what it looked like at least yesterday.

Look for Bucknuts502 to argue that Greene is not the tallest WR on the roster...

He's probably even willing to bet on it...

If Heuerman were to flex off the line over half of the plays this year, he'd be considered a WR, right? Therefore, Greene wouldn't be the tallest...

But I don't see that happening...
