The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Anyone else see this?
I rarely go to the theater (the last Batman was the last time), but I loved the books so I drug my wife out to see it.
It kicks ass. My wife didn't read the books, and said that the first half was too fast-paced as the story was building and it's a long movie, but it was great.
By far the best character depiction I've ever seen from a movie that I'm already familiar with the book. I can't wait for the others.

Sorry... was it not common knowledge that this is a 3-part series? I kind of go into every big-budget film expecting sequels anymore.
If you're taking a lady, or feminine male companion I guess... warn them that there are some brutal scenes in this one... It could've been rated NC-17.

I would guess that Mickey will take a feminine male companion. That's how he rolls.

For the record, I do not know, nor date any hermaphrodites.... but yes, one could make the valid point that since my "date" has an almost identical personality to me and that she's a bi friend of mine, she's more a guy in a chick's body. And yes, she and I have had a u Boat together (if you have to ask, then you haven't enjoyed yourself enough in life). Giggity.
And yes I know it's a three part series, I just don't want any spoilers on the film adaption of the books... dick.
