Senior Day 2011
Obviously, things won't end like we all would have liked or hoped to with this class considering how highly touted this group was. Yet thru all the turmoil and mess of the past year, Senior Day tomorrow won't feel the same since Tressel won't be there to send off the seniors he recruited here. It will almost feel like a huge piece of this class is missing and that is JT .
Thank you to all following seniors and to those who remained trouble free and who gave us countless memories.
Most notably... Michael Brewster, JB Shugarts, Boom Herron, and Tyler Moeller.
I certainly hope the entire senior class leaves to a big victory and loud receptions but I want to ask this question.
What kind of reception do you think Posey and maybe even Mike Adams get?

Great thread!
Thank you Seniors for your 4, 5, and even 6 years of participation at the finest university in the country.
I would think that Posey, Adams, and Solomon Thomas would get a nice reception from the Shoe but the one with nothing to worry about is Herron.
There'll be no way to tell if he's getting boo'd or if everyone is chanting Booooooom!!!!
This was and is a really good senior class. Noticeably absent along with Tress will be Pryor and Nathan Williams.
Williams will get his day next season if all goes well.
Do you guys think that Williams takes place in the ceremony anyways? I guess there's no guarantee that he will be medically able to return next season but at the same time he can't have 2 senior days right??

I certainly don't want anyone to get booed... that would be classless by our fans.

I completely agree.
If you're not going to cheer in this case, just stay quiet and give these players and their parents this proud moment that symbolizes not only the end of their playing careers at the college level, it also symbolizes an early celebration for getting through school and earning a degree.
It's not the time to be booing these guys. If you want to boo, do it after the ball is kicked off and before the final whistle blows.

On a side note, "Stay classy Penn State."

I think if you're going to boo, stay at home and boo in your own living room. Don't take away from these guys' last game in the Shoe. Scandal and other wise, these guys have bled and sweat for the Scarlet and Gray, for Buckeye Nation, and for their teammates past and present. Let them have their honor and make their final home game as Buckeyes be a memorable one by cheering loud as hell for Buckeye Nation. I sure as hell don't plan on being able to talk the rest of the weekend after the game.

Here is one thing that I do know, our offense will automatically average 5 yards more next year with Shugarts gone...
