Just for arguments sake... say both are available and have significant interest in coming here. Who would you want?

Both are great recruiters... both make in-game adjustments better than any coach I've seen.

Yes Carroll had issues with the NCAA... lol probably wouldn't be the best timing since what we have going right now.

Meyer although no known NCAA issues has had numerous players get arressted at Florida and health issues.

Even if Carroll never had NCAA allegations would you want him?

Neither. Carroll is obviously a scumbag, however, Meyer's reputation isnt that much better. How many arrests happened while he was at Florida, like 34, 35? Thats not something the team needs right now, with the NCAA already watching us like hawks

If he was clean, Pete Carroll... No question. He had kids BEGGING to be part of his teams. Plus, look at the pros he's developed. Regardless of what u think about him, the dude can coach...

He ran a juggernaut offense @ USC for 10 yrs... The SEC has already caught onto Meyers' gimmicky spread. Give me Carroll's pro-style offense and tenacious D any day over Meyers' weak defense and spread attack.

I think your discounting 3 things. Location, Location, and Location. If you're a west coast kid and especially a cali kid where else would you want to go? UCLA or Oregon? Recruiting is a little different ball game out here.
