Default 2011- 2012 Ohio State Football Discussion

Never too early to start IMO.

Biggest question marks going into next year I would say are at WR and O-line. I think we may see a lot of 2 TE sets with Fragel and Stoney (Stoney playing more of a Dallas Clark type roll being a TE/WR) and we all saw Fragel can be effective as well. WR is it looking like Brown Fields and Williams? A very young group but we would have guys who can stretch the field.

O-line, does Hall have his act back together? If we lose Adams (who said he may leave) and Brewster (also some questions) then we have to entirely replace the line pretty much. Who fills the gaps in these scenarios?

I'm not too concerned about the D honestly, as long as N. Williams stays you have him and Simon anchoring the line with Big Hank (needs to do a good conditioning program over the srping). LB, this is OSU, it's a plug and play system, and we are deep at the position. DB, we have Allen from FSU (I think he can play next year) and Howard, with Moeller, Bryan, Johnson and Barnett. Clarke also got some PT in the sugar so that's 7 guys at the least.

And of course the last obvious question is QB. Who knows right now?

Rod Smith!

Who will the captains be? Will Pryor be voted a captain even with the violations? Would never being a captain hurt his "legacy?"

Not in my eyes....he's one bad defensive call away from being 3-3 in BCS Bowls and having a Fiesta Bowl MVP trophy. His legacy to me is being a winner and winning BCS games.

well i feel that the bucks need to work on the D-backs first and then the whole offence will fall in place Defence is the key to the BCS champ.

i think the defense will be fine! howard, cj barnett, moeller, oj and christan bryant are a few names that come to mind. some guys will have to step up but i am curious to see beside sweat what 2 other LB's step up. sabino is one that comes to mind that needs to put up this year. hopefully he used that RS year to his benefit.

From what I have been hearing, Brewster might be leaning towards returning, Adams has already said (via Twitter) that he is coming back. So has Herron for what it's worth, but I think Herron should go. He is going to lose touches with Hall, Berry Hyde, and Smith pushing for more playing time.

We definitely have youth at WR, but not a lack of talent.

Check out my latest article for more on who's next (especially at WR) for the Buckeyes!
