Default Non-serious fun thread for the day

Jim Tressel is gone tomorrow. Whatever the reason, he is no longer head coach at OSU.

Who do you think we bring in? A proven commodity like an Urban Meyer, or do they go a quiet route? Maybe bring D'antonio back?

Who would you want them to bring in and who do you think they'd be able to pull away from another school?

D'antonio is a Michigan guy so I doubt he willingly leaves MSU. One guy who I would strongly consider is Skip Holtz. He has done a pretty good job at ECU and his dad coached at OSU. I think after the Cooper years they will go with a guy with Ohio roots.

It would certainly be an Ohio guy. Dantonio or Pelini would probably get the first shot. Meyer would make sense, but it would probably be a similar situation to What happened with Michigan and Les Miles last season.

Does anyone actually think if the Ohio State job opened up Urban Meyer would leave Florida, a program that's one of the elite in the nation, where he's already won a title, and recruits like non other? That's a lot to leave on the table even with him being an Ohio guy.

Its a lot to leave on the table for even Bo Pelini or Dantonio. Skip Holtz would be a good choice looking at what he has done with inferior recruits. Personally though Pelini would be my choice. A true defensive minded coach again for OSU who could focus on D while bringing in a top OC with him. Timing isn't right for him though, but give him some time at Nebraska first. He could be moderately successful there and then want to move up to a program that he feels is a better job.

These guys are all head coaches now though. What about some current assistants that are extremely successful that might be looking to move up to a head job?
