Money is killing this playoff proposal..

This is getting out of hand how no one wants to risk their tv contracts to make fans happy..

It's very unfortunate but it's all about the money today.

I don't understand why they can't just do this for the fans and for the love of the game. Isn't that what it's really supposed to be about?

You would think a playoff would make schools more money and then going to a major bowl game? I want a 14-16 team playoff. Every D-1A conference champ deserves a shot at the title. Then give 2 spots for Independent and a Wild Card. It's only fair! A playoff in college football would be bigger than March Madness and possibly the NFL playoffs.

Money makes the world go around. Sad to see that it is so important but what can you do about it.

I don't ever want to see a playoff and don't understand why you are so anxious for one. We already have the NFL, they play on Sundays you know. The NFL has it's post-season tournament, as does the NCAA tournament in March, the NBA, the NHL, MLB in October. Why can't college football be different.

I for one do not want to see a playoff at all. Can you imagine a 16 team playoff? Those first round games would have like half the amount of fans and very little hype. I love the fact that every game matters in college football. That is what makes NFL, NCAA BBall, NHL, MLB so boring, the regular season barely matters.

I think we have a better chance of the Falcons winning the Super Bowl this year than getting a 1-A playoff in our lifetimes.

i dont want a full playoff because it does diminish the regular season. however, i wouldn't mind seeing a BCS bowl playoff. 8 teams, each BCS bowl winner goes onn until the championship
