How many future NBA players on '11-'12 team?
This season's team ('11-'12) IMO is potentially the most talented team in school history. The roster is stacked with talent and might have up to 8 or even 9 future NBA players on it. How many, and which players do you guys think will at the very least make an NBA roster?
2011-2012 OSU MEN'S BASKETBALL ROSTER

Which player will make the best NBA player?

LOVE THE POLL!!!
If we are talking about players that at the very least make a roster than i think all of these guys have a legit chance. The NBA drafts players on potential way more than other sports (MLB does too). With that said, the freshmen will obviosly just be a guess going off of potential.

IMO, I would have to say Craft is better than a borderline chance, I see him having the ability to take on a floor general role similar to Rajon Rondo. He's a great passer, has some good ability to cut and attack the lane, he's definitely shown he can be a ball hawk, too. If this year's freshman class steps up big, things look VERY promising for this season.

I think Craft has a very good chance at playing in the NBA too. He plays so strong and quick and his fundamentals are so solid that he would at the very least make good role player coming off of the bench. He needs to continue to improve his shooting from outside but he has very good form.
I don't really agree with the Rondo comparison very much though. He reminds me more of Raymond Felton.

Yeah, I wasn't trying to compare him to Rondo as far as style talent etc... more the type of role that Rondo plays for Boston.

If Craft can get on an NBA roster that has 2 or 3 stars but needs a PG that would be perfect. It's hard to project 3 years down the road but a roster like the current Knicks with Melo and Amare' would be ideal.

I like to see him hit a team with guys that are a little younger though... someone where he can help build a nucleus that will last for 5 to 10 seasons. If Craft stays all 4 years of school Melo and Amare are going to be 30 and 32 respectively. Nonetheless, if he lands someplace like that where he could get a few seasons under his belt and prove his can be a solid floor general, he'd probably be valuable enough to land about anywhere.

I said "A roster like 'the current' Knicks". It's hard to say what team will have that type of situation in 3 years, so I was using a current team as an example.

My bad man, I read that before I finished my late morning coffee, haha. Small price to pay for being up until 5 I guess haha.
