Okay...I am gonna say this, and I am probably gonna be destroyed on the board for saying it, but I am a pretty straight shooter and try not to drink too much of the Scarlet and Gray Kool-Aid so here it goes...
I have questions about Thomas. Not about his talent and ability, but if he is going to be used properly by JT. Maurice Wells has a lot of similar skills to Lamarr including body type. Thomas is not going to be a between the tackles runner. Wells in my opinion, has been used completely wrong by the staff. Wells needs to be utilized through pitches, sweeps, swing & screen passes, and slot receiver alignments. All of these things accomplish one goal...getting a shifty, elusive player of their caliber out in space to create. JT hasn't done that with Wells, and now people are under the impression that this kid can't play. That couldn't be further from the truth. I am scared that Thomas is going to fall into this same stigma. I'm sorry but as much as I am a fan, I am also objective to what I see. I hope that they truely use Thomas' unique talents to add another facet to this offense to open up other facets.
