We will have had 2 weeks to prepare for PSU. We should be more than ready to give them fits. This game shouldn't be close if we play like we're capable of.

You guys hear Paterno's postgame comments? talk about trying to hype up your fans for disappointment.

"Now lets go beat Ohio State!" to the crowd of 100K+ fans lol

I'm glad this game isn't at PSU, and that Joe got his 400th last week.

Royster hasn't had a great season; but I think it's important that we shut him down early.

Tressel impressed with Paterno's career victories

Associated Press
8:48 PM Wednesday, November 3, 2010

COLUMBUS, Ohio — What's brewing with the 2010 Ohio State Buckeyes ...

BUCKEYES BUZZ: Penn State icon Joe Paterno is going for his 400th career victory on Saturday against Northwestern.

If the audacious enormity of that accomplishment that doesn't sink in, consider the reaction of Paterno's Big Ten peers.

"Jim Tressel just got to 100," Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio said on Tuesday's coaches teleconference. "Let me put that in perspective: He just got 100 in 10 years. ... To do (what Paterno has done) in a constant period of time is incredible. I remarked to my wife, 'Do we have 50 yet?'"

Answer: No. In his seventh successful year as a head coach, Dantonio is 48-35. At the rate he's going, if he won out this season, he'd reach 400 in just 54 MORE SEASONS!

Paterno, the head coach of the Nittany Lions for the past 45 years, deflects all talk of the watershed win.

"I've been in so many football games and I've been fortunate enough to win a sizable number," the 83-year-old Paterno said. "But I've been at it so long. Football's been so good to me. I've got a bunch of kids who've been struggling. ... It's got to be their football game because they don't have that many opportunities. They play four years, period. I've been coaching 40-something years."

Continued.........................
