Default Game 11: #10 Iowa 24 vs. #11 Ohio State 27 (Final/OT)

2009 Ohio State Football
#10 Iowa Hawkeyes (9-1, 5-1) vs. #11 Ohio State Buckeyes (8-2, 5-1)

November 14th, 2009
3:30 ET Kickoff
Ohio Stadium
ABC

Great performance last weekend at Penn State. Time to bring the same mentality this week against Iowa. We need to jump on them early. Last weekend's game against PSU proves that if you don't turn the ball over your chances of winning improve greatly.

By the way for those who are wondering, Iowa starting QB Ricky Stansi likely will be out this game, and possibly for the rest of the regular season.

this is a big game but i was expecting a score like the PSU game for this one, and then Stanzi went down, and i dont think Iowas will be able to hang with us.

And the Iowa backup QB is James Vandenberg, a freshman who came in and went 9 for 27 with a pick last week. If we can keep them from developing the run game, we're smelling roses.

Simple motivation: You beat Iowa, you go to pasadena. You lose, you dont

I felt confident about our chances before Stanzi got hurt, but now that he's hurt, and that they are playing a freshman qb I like our chances even more. Hopefully our guys down play down to their level though.

My dad isn't coming to this game to see us lose, we're winning this game.
