Nice outing against Minnesota. Let's keep it going against New Mexico St.... a team who we should push around all day long.

Maybe we'll get lucky, and Jim Tressel will be Pete Carroll for Halloween.

I think it would be funny to see Tress scrub down and wear a Bellicheck-style hoodie for the game

Really wish this wasn't our warm up game before PSU. No matter what our offense does this week or last, I fully expect us to go conservative [read: predictable] against PSU.

It soley depends on our offensive lines ability to control the LOS.........if they struggle, we will be conservative with Pryor.............

It is really simple........if we are to win that game, the offensive line needs to win the battles...........

That is true. If the O line gives Pryor time I don't expect him to make as many mistakes. I just hoper the Pryor -> Posey connection continues to light it up. It seems like Posey has been open almost every play this year and Pryor is just now beginning to look to him as his first read instead of Sanzenbacher (whom he seems to be most comfortable).

Luncheon Day Notebook: Approaching New Mexico State as Critical Game

By Brandon Castel

It's not often Ohio State is favored by 40 points going into a game, and for good reason.

"We haven't got 40 points very often," Head Coach Jim Tressel cracked Tuesday at his weekly media luncheon.

It was one of those "funny because it's true" jokes that Tressel will often make about himself when he is in good spirits; one that went over much better this week than it would have following the Buckeyes 26-18 loss at Purdue a week ago.

For the record, Ohio State has yet to score 40 points in a game this season, although they have reached 38 points twice, including this past weekend against Minnesota.

Continued...............
