10 Things We Learned from Beating Toledo

It had been one full week since Ohio State’s home loss to USC and coach Jim Tressel was anxious to get his players on the field Saturday to see how they would rebound from the agony of defeat. With Terrelle Pryor looking like…the real Terrelle Pryor and the OSU defense looking like the real thing, the Buckeyes outgained Toledo 522-210 in a 38-0 shutout of the Rockets at Cleveland Browns Stadium.
We look back at the 10 things we learned from the bounce-back victory over Toledo.
10. Cleveland Browns Stadium was the right venue for this game. Imagine if Ohio State had traveled to Toledo to face the Rockets at the Glass Bowl. While it would have cut down on travel time and hotel stays for the Rockets, not much else would have changed. The stadium would still have been pro Ohio State and the Buckeyes still would have won the game handedly. By playing this game in Cleveland, it gave fans who usually don’t get to see the Buckeyes a chance to while providing a much larger payout for the “home team” Toledo.
