Key to victory is to get pressure on McCoy and not give him time to pick apart our soft zone defense.

So far the consensus on other message boards is that we will get blown out. Although a few of the more knowledgeable posters are comparing this game to the Florida-Michigan Capital One Bowl of last year. I can see that comparison. However, that would mean that our offense will have to come out with a new strategy for this game. The same strategy that we will be using next year.

I run a spread in this game 75% of the time, singleback formations, shotgun, etc.

this game shall be a good one, it will be tough for us, seeing as how we performed this year but the off time will be excellent for pryor, and tres needs to run a freaking different O, cause the last 2 years it hasn't worked and if he thinks he can run it thinking he will get a W than he is wrong
Texas is good...very good

pressure up front is huge, if we give McCoy all day he fill find his targets...
same with our line , we need to give Pryor a little time, i know he can make plays with his feet but he needs to come out with some completions get that confidence up.

Not when I was there in 07.
Big 12 pass defense is terrible, so if in the time off Pryor really works on the passing game and Texas tries to stack the box for beanie he'll be able to throw all over them. Our O line needs to get healthy and not play terrible. On Defense that D line has to not just get pressure, but tackle well. McCoy is a mobile guy these days and can escape pressure.
I really hope that JL makes him cry again.
