has anyone read "Anatomy of a Murder", or seen the original 1959 film?
Anatomy of a Murder - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Read through all our posts on this thread again this morning. Searching for an analogy of this latest rep of a decades long prideful tradition, this came to mind. We're like the defense team in “Anatomy of a Murder”...grasping for disparate straws to bale together into "irresistible impulse" hay for our continuing insanity defense.

We are given so much...so much. There are so many who work hard...so many. And yet we prove willing to squander it all and far more by clinging to some flaw or selfishness… over again.

But only in a "loss", do we even perceive there might be an actual problem...because we feel mad, sad, had, or bad. Of course, we then embark on yet another ‘process’, as it was infamously & dryly put in an old military saying, of "search for the guilty...punishment of the innocent...decoration of the non-participants...and twisted revelations of lessons not learned over again." Or, a cacophony of Philosophical Diversity pranging between denial, fratricide, possessive preferential bean counting, nihilism, determinism, non-sequiturs, just imaginings, sorcery, narcissism...and so forth.

A far, far cry from...common sense, or problem solving. Which reminds of another famous novel, “Cry, the Beloved Country”.

“There is nothing new under the sun” concerning people, because no person can escape his “Man in the Mirror”. Apart from our Maker, we unmake ourselves.

To apply the commercial, “What’s in YOUR Bobblehead wallet?”
