The staff hasn't done very well with recruits from Maryland recently. Hopefully things change with Thomas. He apparently hit it off with the Brew Crew and Posey in particular.

Re: McGuffie, he probably should have come to camp if he wanted a Buckeye offer.

I don't know why but the Bucks don't really recruit SEC talent. We mainly stay in the Midwest and occasionally head out west for a talent or 2.

I think we should pay a little more attention to players down south.

Posey has been talking to LT about becoming Thunder and Lightening together.

I am concerned that LT really seems to like the idea of being a RB. He wants to be a Reggie Bush type player...a RB that sometimes gets split wide. It seems we want him more as a traditional WR who will stretch the field (like Teddy).

The kid has some jets- 10.51/100meters.

I don't know. I see him more as a running back than a wide receiver.

has to be a reason he has not been offered when it appears that he wants badly to be given that opp. with the bucks.osu knows something we don't.

Ya, in high school as a sophmore he ran the ball 61 times for 688 yards and 5 TDs and caught the ball 10 times for 239 yards and 2 TDs. As a Junior he only ran the ball 42 times with 800 yards! and caught 22 balls for 350 yards.

I kinda like him as a reggie bush guy for us.

Thomas kinda reminds me of Joe McKnight, but not quite as fast. He's still an outstanding player and would be a great get. If we get him, I think it will pretty much seal the deal for Mo Wells' transfer.

2008:
Brewster - Florida
Shugarts - Texas

2007:
Cam Heyward - Georgia
James Scott - Florida
Brian Rolle - Florida

2006:
Chimdi Chekwa - Florida
Aram Olson - South Carolina
Walter Dublin - Florida....though gone now
Antonio Henton - Georgia

For being a midwest school with horrible weather, I think we've done ok in SEC country. Not to mention we've always done pretty well in California.
