Well I am glad everybody is excited...I am very excited as well. But I don't want everybody to pop the champaign just yet. Strange things have happened before. First thing that comes to mind was when Fred Davis told me FIRST HAND...STRAIGHT FROM HIS MOUTH...that he was a Buckeye. Two days later, he committed to USC. So until Lamarr says it and commits, I am always slightly skeptical. But Brewster has been dead on with me thusfar, and when he told me, I deem his as credible, and I went with it. Thanks for the great and positive comments, and as always, any questions are welcomed. You guys are great and it was good to get back to doing what I love most.

So would this still mean we are recruiting him as a WR? Or does he firmly want to be a RB?

Nothing has changed from that front of things...Ohio State continues to recruit Thomas as a WR. From what I was told, Brewster and the guys if Thomas indeed chooses the Buckeyes, might have been the difference. I think the relationships that these guys have built together is just astonishing and will continue to pay dividends in the future in developing these young kids together as a TEAM.
Honestly...I think Thomas is a wide receiver anyways. This kid is a match-up nightmare in the slot. You gonna tell me an OLB/MLB/S is going to be able to cover this kid??? Not a chance. Actually kind of reminds me of Mo. Wells only with better hands making him capable of being a WR. I think Lamarr would fall short of expectations at RB. I would immediately question his ability to run between the tackles week in and week out in the Big Ten. And the thought of him being a 20-25 a game ball carrier is a pipe dream. This is a kid you get out in space, and make people miss. This is a kid you stretch the field with vertically and let him run wild through the seems across the middle of the field.
All homerism aside, and strictly looking at this from a standpoint of where would he best fit with his skills, and where other teams see him compared to us...Ohio State I truely believe would best utilize his abilities.

Use him and Saine like Reggie Bush. Put them in the backfield then line them up at WR.

Great to hear this news on Thomas. I posted on here a week or so ago that I don't think a lot of people realize what a talent Thomas is. He is a gameBreaker. There are very few of them out there. He has world class speed but the most important thing is he is a football player. I look for OSU to use him like Florida uses Harvin. It looks like OneZuke has connections I have really enjoyed reading your post. I try to stay current with the recruiting front but man do you take it to another level!

Yea sounds like he is a pure talent....
Anyone got access to film on him?
Zuke is the patron saint of recruiting! You didn't know that? LOL

Not to sound like a bubble buster but weren't we sayin that about Maurice Wells too? About him being a rare talent and a game breaker.
