Thats really what I wanted from this game, some close situation experience.

This game should never have been this close but I am glad we were able to struggle and come out with a victory just to set reality in that you can lose (thankfully we didn't.)
We made numerous stupid mistakes during this game. Many penalties that really hurt us.
Our defense looked awesome today. Our D didn't allow a TD again this game and if not for those turnovers on offense we sail away win an easy win.
Bring on Penn State.

What the hell was wrong with Ben Person? 3 false starts? I think he had a holding call as well? Not to mention all the other penalties made today by everyone else. This is not a good sign when our next game is at a very hostile enviroment.

the msu did a really good job blitzing. that's why i think there was so much confusion up front. that's why there were false starts and stupid holding calls. i am sure penn st is going to blitz us the same way. in all reality the two turnovers were bad. that's the only reason msu had a chance. boeckman needs to be a more accurate passer. too many balls have been under thrown. the defense looked good as always. i just hope they work out everything out this week. at penn state is going to be a tough one.

Yeah with the meat of our schedule coming up this game was very beneficial. Plus it was awsome being in that stadium in the 4th quarter when it got really, really loud.
Our D is insane, and the pride of our team this year. 3 points all day from their O? I'll take that.

Was Washington the last game our first team defense gave up a TD? The kickoff return against NW doesn't count.

Yeah I think it was Washington. That's pretty amazing.
