Yep! And I was so pumped when we got him out of Glenville, I don't get it. He is more talented than that, and our coaches are better than that. He might be the first disappointing player in Tress's era. And I mean lack of turning him into a better player.

Oh man. I was the biggest Jam-O fan of all Buckeye Nation, now he's a liability. Almost as bad as Dustin Fox. I seriously thought Jamario was going to be the next Jack Tatum. He's still a stud athlete, he just doesn't have it together mentally. I guess even Tressel can't make everyone a first round pick.

Well look at Jam-O. He's freakishly strong, fast and athletic. He's built like a LB. He just continues to get lost in coverage and tends to try to make a big hit instead of wrapping up. Since I don't count Mike D'Andrea, Jam-O could very well be the first 5-star recruit bust under JT.

Yeah it's too bad he could never really contribute for us. But his injuries cleared the way for another true freshman to step up and make an impact that year, AJ Hawk. AJ probably would have redshirted if it weren't for D'Andrea's injuries. I also remember that year that Matt Wilhelm was almost benched to make way for D'Andrea. Then that year Wilhelm blew up and became a first-team All-American.

This is why recruiting is so much more than just physical measureables like bench press numbers and 40 times and scout star ratings...
I've seen the D'Andrea recruiting video back then, it was sick!
