Game 6: Ohio State 23 vs. Purdue 7 (Final)
Another away night game for the Buckeyes against an undefeated Purdue team. Is this going to be the first REAL test for the Buckeyes? How do you think this game will turn out?

I think we'll step up and win in what could be a scary game. The first half will be a nailbiter I think.
First Quarter:
7-7 (Purdue scores first)
Second Quarter:
17-14 (OSU)
Third Quarter:
24-14 (OSU)
Fourth Quarter:
Purdue scores again and makes it 24-21, but OSU puts the game away with a FG and a TD.
34-21

Purdue is planning a "Blackout" for the game this week. Sounds like they are treating this like the biggest game of the year...
Quote:
From Purdue's official site...
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind.- When the Boilermakers and the Ohio State Buckeyes take the field on Oct. 6, they will be walking into a blackout.
The night game, which will kick off at 8:00 p.m. beneath the lights at Ross-Ade Stadium, will be enhanced by the 2007 Boilermaker Blackout t-shirt, on sale now.
The glow-in-the-dark t-shirt is available at all on-campus locations and is the official game day tee for the contest. The shirt features helmets of the two teams and the game's date.
The shirt can be purchased for just $10.00, with partial proceeds going to benefit the Greater Lafayette United Way.

This should be a VERY good game. If not, then it will be a blowout in our favor!

Well, I think I would be very surprised if this game was a blow out. I think it will be harder than we think because we historically have not played 'great' over there. Then factor in both teams being undefeated, it's a night game, and the crowd being pumped up, it's going to be a battle.

Always beware of an underdog, at home, at night.
I'd like to see a comeback win for us. Get our offense some more confidence and momentum for the rest of the season.

i expected the purdue fans to do something for this game. this game is huge for them with them just cracking the top 25. we just have to come out fired up for this one. purdue is better then minnesota and i felt we came out too flat. i wish we could come every game like we were for northwestern.

Schools love to do this to tOSU teams. Remember at NC State in 2004 they tried to "red out" Ohio State? Then you had Penn State in 05 with the white-out. Then last year at Iowa with the all yellow. This year we're gonna see all black at Purdue and likely another white-out at State Penn. I wonder what TSUN will do?
