I agree with BuckeyeGoon. Does Washington return a lot of talent on the offense? How about defense?
I think what it all will come down to is special teams. Close games usually always come down to special teams. If we can hit some field goals, punt the ball deep, and get good field position we'll be fine.
We'll see a good amount of Tressel Ball in this game and I'm fine with that. Our offensive line will come around in the nick of time.

I was just skimming Washington's schedule... They have 7 games against ranked teams. 3 of those in the top 10

For a BCS birth with a decent showing against those teams. That should be interesting especially if USC loses any, which I think they can/will. Is UW the 2nd best Pac 10 team?

don't forget about UCLA and Cal.
IMO, the pac-10 goes Cal->USC->Oregon->Washington->UCLA

Cal, UW, Oregon, USC, (I think they are overrated, and they didn't look good at all in that first game of the year. Eager to see what they do this week.)
Than UCLA.
And I think that Cal, UW, and Oregon are really to close to call.

I agree with San Diego:
No way is UW the 2nd best team in the PAC 10. USC is still the class of the league, with Cal, UCLA, and Oregon behind. Washington, with continued improvement, can jump up into that league next year. For now, I'd say we need to watch that painful tape of the National Title game for a little more on Tim Tebow, who looks very similar in style to this frosh QB Wash. has

I think USC, and UCLA are overrated this year. (at least until I see USC again) and I really think Cal, Oregon, and UW are to close to call.
