It is hard to determine right now...........I think they will try to RS him but we will have to see how the position pans out in the fall...........

I think their is no way he gets redshirted at this point.........

QB Cardale Jones (6-5, 217, Fork Union)
Originally a part of last year’s class, Jones enrolled at OSU in Jan. after a year at Fork Union. He becomes the third scholarship QB on the roster in the spring.

I 100% agree.
Especially after Meyer said he doesn't recruit players to RS. I think we'll see about 20 of these kids get some PT, with 3 or 4 being starters, abd the other 5 or 6 will red shirt.
With the depth at QB only being Braxton, Guiton, and Jones, and with the amount of early season blowouts that we'll see, I don't think Jones will RS either.
Combine those factors with Cardale also being very talented, and the fact that we know Meyer is going to land at-least 1, and maybe 2 QBs in the '13 class so he's probably going to want to see what he's got behind Miller Time.
I think we'll see him out there early. Possibly in the 1st game.

You know he wanted that #10 from Philly......
He's always wanted to be just like Troy Smith and even wore #10 at Glenville....

One of my favorite payers on the team, not just freshmen, the whole team....
Cardale is going to me great....
Vince Young without the awkward upright running and side-arm sling shot throws....
He's a helluva QB....
