Maty Mauk is a system QB, and while I think he'll do well in a system like Missouri's, you have to remember he played Div IV ball in HS. There's a Grand Canyon sized difference in the average skill level between Div IV HS and the SEC. At 6'2 190, he's gotta bulk up about 25-35 pounds or he's gonna get killed playing in the SEC...

He's got a strong arm and he's a good on his feet, but he's not fast for a BCS conference... he's gonna have a sizable gap to close to be an effective QB at the next level. His work is definitely cut out for him.

Not trying to diss on Mauk, he's definitely a baller, his name is smattered all over the Ohio HS record books and he has 5 National HS records to prove it.

As far as Diggs goes, it's gonna be a long, rough stretch ahead for Maryland as they have a lot of needs to fill, starting with QB, to even compete in the ACC, let alone nationally. He's limited his potential of making the NFL by playing in a subpar program out of the national spotlight. But Maryland is where he'll feel at home, best of luck to him.
